This month, we will be focusing on creating Sugar Skulls. In class, we discussed the celebration of Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) in Mexico. These skulls are well-known for being a significantly important part of Mexican culture during this celebration.

Miss Byblow and Miss Czapran are instructing students on the Canadian Ojibwa artist, Norval Morrisseau. Our students will be learning about features of Morrisseau's art, as well as producing a piece of their own using new techniques learned. Here are some samples of Morrisseau's works:
